Your role in our mission

At Nedschroef, we continuously strive to improve our supply chain and supplier performance. As a Supplier Development Manager, you are globally responsible for driving, monitoring, and improving supplier quality performance across the organization.

In this role, you operate as an independent senior professional within Procurement and collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Quality functions worldwide. You play a key role in elevating quality standards, managing escalations, and structurally improving processes and supplier performance.

You contribute to a future-proof organization by introducing data-driven and digital solutions while fostering continuous improvement across the supplier landscape.

  • Responsible for monitoring and steering global supplier quality performance (e.g. complaints, non-conformities, delivery performance)
  • Initiate and further develop systems, processes, and KPI structures related to supplier management.
  • Lead and coordinate supplier-related quality escalations with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate supplier audits (system, process, and product audits), including VDA 6.3 where applicable
  • Drive structured supplier development activities and improvement programs
  • Define and monitor improvement roadmaps together with suppliers
  • Analyze data and develop reports and dashboards to create transparency on supplier performance
  • Improve and harmonize processes within supplier quality and procurement
  • Act as a key interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders in a complex, international environment

Your qualifications 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field
  • Proven experience in supplier quality management within an automotive or automotive-related environment
  • Strong understanding of automotive quality standards, methods, and processes
  • Experience with supplier audits; VDA 6.3 auditor certification is a strong advantage
  • Experience in managing complex quality issues and escalations
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to manage complexity across regions and cultures in a structured and pragmatic way
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain overview across multiple topics and suppliers
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
