Nedschroef as Your New Employer

Nedschroef is a leading international manufacturer of highly engineered fasteners and precision components, serving customers in the automotive, mobility, and industrial sectors. With approximately 2,700 employees across 26 locations worldwide, including production facilities, engineering centers, and commercial offices throughout Europe, Asia, and North America, Nedschroef serves a global customer base of OEMs and industrial companies.

Founded in 1894, Nedschroef has its roots in Helmond, the Netherlands, where the company's headquarters remain located today. Over the years, the organization has developed into an international business while maintaining a strong connection to its Dutch heritage.

The organization is continuously evolving in response to changing market conditions, technological developments, and shifting customer demands. Strategic initiatives such as organizational transformation, workforce optimization, centralization, digitalization, and international collaboration are key priorities within the business.

To support these ambitions, Nedschroef is looking for an experienced HR Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping the people agenda for both the global Group Functions and the Complex Products Business Line.

Your role as HR Manager

As HR Manager, you are the strategic HR lead for Nedschroef's global Group Functions and a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams. You partner closely with directors and functional leaders across Finance, IT, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and other headquarters functions to drive organizational effectiveness, leadership development, workforce planning, and transformation initiatives.

A key element of this position is the coordination and alignment of Group Functions across multiple countries and locations. As Nedschroef continues to centralize and professionalize its support functions, you act as the connecting link between Group Function Directors, local management teams, and local HR organizations.

While local HR teams remain responsible for operational HR execution, you ensure alignment on workforce planning, organizational design, governance, employee relations, and talent management across the organization.
In addition, you act as HR Business Partner for the Complex Products Business Line, supporting business leaders across the Netherlands and Germany in achieving both operational and strategic objectives. The role offers a unique combination of strategic HR leadership, stakeholder management, international coordination, workforce transformation, and hands-on HR business partnering.

You will lead an international team of five HR professionals and play a key role in advancing Nedschroef's people strategy, organizational development agenda, and HR transformation roadmap.
The role reports directly to the VP Human Resources and functionally supports the Business Line Director Complex Products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as the strategic HR partner for the global Group Functions and the Complex Products Business Line;
  • Advise, challenge, and support senior leaders on organizational, talent, and workforce-related topics;
  • Translate business objectives into a clear and actionable people strategy;
  • Drive organizational development, workforce planning, succession management, and leadership development initiatives;
  • Lead and support transformation, centralization, and change management programs across multiple countries;
  • Coordinate restructuring, shared service, and organizational effectiveness initiatives;
  • Drive the further professionalization, standardization, and digitalization of HR processes and practices;
  • Lead, coach, and develop an international team of HR professionals;
  • Act as the key liaison between headquarters, business leaders, local management teams, and local HR organizations;
  • Ensure compliance with labor legislation and maintain constructive relationships with works councils and employee representatives;
  • Promote alignment, governance, and best-practice sharing across international HR teams and business functions;
  • Support business growth, operational excellence, and sustainable organizational performance through effective people management.

Your profile

As HR Manager, you are a confident and credible business partner who can operate effectively within a complex international matrix organization. You understand business challenges and know how to translate them into impactful people solutions.

You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic and hands-on approach. You are equally comfortable discussing organizational design and transformation with executive leadership as you are supporting managers on operational HR matters.

You possess the maturity, resilience, and leadership skills required to drive transformation, challenge the status quo, and create sustainable organizational impact.

Furthermore, you bring:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant HR leadership and HR Business Partner experience within an international environment.
  • Experience in a multinational matrix organization within manufacturing, engineering, or industry is preferred.
  • Proven experience advising senior leaders and management teams on strategic people topics.
  • Strong track record in organizational transformation, change management, workforce planning, and leadership development.
  • Experience working in complex matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with works councils, employee representatives, and social partners.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using HR data and metrics to drive business decisions.
  • A confident and assertive personality with the ability to challenge, influence, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of German is considered a strong advantage.
